Lisa P. Levens, MA, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Lisa provides confidential solution-focused therapy for a variety of issues. She is in private practice in downtown Wilmette.

In addition to therapy services, Lisa provides trainings and mental health consultation. She worked with the Illinois Children’s Mental Health Partnership to implement mental health consultation and reflective trauma work with various agencies. Lisa provided reflective consultation for various home visiting programs administering Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Mothers and
Babies curriculum. She was the maternal mental health specialist for Birthways.

Lisa traveled throughout the state to provide training for practitioners and clinicians on the unique treatment of perinatal mood disorder. Attendees learn to identify symptoms of perinatal mood disorder, properly diagnose, and treat this very treatable disease.

Lisa is certified in the treatment of perinatal mood disorders from the Postpartum Stress Center, Rosemont, Pennsylvania. She graduated in 1994 from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology with a Master of Arts degree in clinical psychology and received her professional license two years later in 1996. Prior to that, she graduated with high honors from Michigan State University school of social sciences.

Lisa is an active member of the Illinois Counseling Association.

Training:

Lisa provides training for practitioners and clinicians on the unique treatment of perinatal mood disorders. Practitioners will learn how to properly screen, diagnose and treat this very treatable situation.
